Amazing Crimped Bow Detail Wedding Cake

In 1869 large hoops and crinolines disappeared from stylish women’s wardrobes. The amount of fabric used in the skirt remained the same, however, but now the fashion required that it be pulled to the back, piled at the waistline, and then allowed to cascade to a train. The fine details on this cake in soft white color pleats at the waist created volume in the skirt without adding bulk to the cake, truly classic and stunning work made to resemble a women’s train.
